Suitcase of my aussie trip.. Preparing for the Aussie study already.. eCOE is here, medical checkup done, Visa applied.. Air Tickets not yet paid only.. Had some stickers on the suitcase for easy recognition..

Went to LTA to help Candy convert her car to normal plate.. cost=$14737.. -.- then went to change the number plate.. saw my dream car of the moment beside it.. Candy went to take picture of it straight.. it was LOUD!! real LOUD.. but I like it.. haha (even though I told candy i dun, must be sour grapes)

Now I am just dreaming of putting an INGS kit on the Getz before I leave for my studies..

See the Getz is smiling.. Cos he is no more a weekend car!

Pondering Wondering Fondering

Ubuntu

cant get XgL to work so that i can have rotating desktop.. sucks..
I think its the graphics card in the laptop that makes it unworkable.. but Ubuntu is still fun!

Laptop

Recently installed Ubuntu into my laptop.. Nice.. but still cant get the 3D rotating Desktop, Compiz, to get it to work.. formatted the drive 3 times just to install it.. Actually did not wanted to install it but because of BenQ service center, PCS, that did not get their job done properly after paying $164 and giving me 5GB of unallocated space.. I decided to use that space to play with Ubuntu.. It is cool seeing that most of their software could let users do what windows could also do.. somemore that this OS is free and its by Linux.. Simply GLAM.. lots of programming to learn.. and YC told me to learn it.. yar yar I am not an IT student lehz.. how to get all this to be done??

9th feb i will be leaving for aussie.. im countdown at home everyday... haha..
damn bored.. still havent start buying stuffs for aust.. YET!.. but first lets enjoy the trip to taiwan first...

New Year, A New Beginning..

First of all, Happy New Year to all of you! Been a great New Year's Eve for me as Candy has cooked her first meal for me for the past five years.. HaHaHa!! She prepared fried rice and cereal prawns for me for that day. Yumzz... Then we went to malaysia with 3 other friends to celebrate the new year there.. Went in and met with a little jam at Singapore's Customs, and then we are off to Tebrau City again for some 4 hours of shopping.. bought lotsa great stuffs and then we rushed back home as my mum held a party for her friends in our msia house and we were there to have some nice food before heading to my other friend BBQ at Danga Bay so that we can watch some fireworks.. Danga Bay is the coast near the customs and every festive seasons there would surely be fireworks for their citizens to enjoy.. nice fireworks for around 10 mins before we headed home and catch some sleep

Today we just went to have some dim sum with our sec skool friends and then to City Square to do our 2nd round of shopping.. and then went to have some HK food before we came back..

Highlight of the trip was that we noticed a friend's friend was carrying a big hp.. then we thought it was those old school hp, ended up he showed it to us and we found that it was equipped with color screen and polyphonic ringtones... he said that there are some models that comes with cameras or mp3 player and also mp4 player as well.. costs ard rm500 and they were imported from Taiwan or China.. PDA phones from China were also found there and it also costs at ard rm500... thats very cheap compared to dopod or O2... They can be found in Holiday Plaza and some unique models include lipsticks acting as handphone. and they also come with the same functions as our normal handphones. They also have 3G technology as well..

Hmm.. Could we be seeing a trend of old school handphones carried around the streets soon??

Bosses

woah.. last last week went to vivocity and past by a restaurant that is named Bosses or "Hei Sei Hui" looks cool, everything is black in color except the plates.. So this evening, I went to have dinner at that restaurant with Candy.. Nice food but a bit ex.. Chairs are made of suede.. BLACK and there is only a chair that is marked with embroidery, I think that marks you as the boss of the table.. simply cool..

Nice place for gathering... there is even steamboat on the offerings... SIMPLY COOL..

These few days

These past fews days have its ups and downs.. birthday just past.. unexpectedly.. Cui Hua was the first one who sms to wish me a happy day.. wow!!! -Claps- then got into some misunderstanding or quarrel with one of my friend due to a xmas dinner.. but never mind dun let this bother much..

Went to Mount Faber to see "snow" with Gary and Co. wah liew $3 to watch the snow? I think it is not worth it.. But then the PR said we can bill ourselves with drinks of $15 per pax and then we can have the $3 ticket rebated.. hahaha.. we din buy the idea and then just went to vivocity to have a walk cos gary and co did not went to vivocity before... after that went to Bishan Park to catch some football.. Man Utd Won yeah~ but then what was most dramatic is that Chelsea scored the winner against wigan in the last min of the match.. Oh man.. and now it is down to 2 points gap again~....

I have been playing Spellforce 2 recently therefore not been blogging.. the craze is going to die soon I mean for blogging..

Hopefully later, the gift exchange makes some sense and turned out to be meaningful.. Oh man.. Low morale when there is rain.. erm. dun wanna to blog about it as some DJ says that every blog she read is about the rain and the flood.. yah.. cos Singaporeans are that "no life" and the only happening thing is the rain, flood, xmas, new year, shopping for the moment..

yeah!! installed remote start into the car.. damn cool.. waited so long for it.. press a button afar.. and you got ur engine started without even getting near the car.. Candy wanted that sooo long and at last she got what she asked for.. Hope she damn happy about it...

Nice.. hope the car wont be sold away so that I can further mod the car.. hahaha
if not time to save up more money so that I can have the reserves to spend on modding the next car if it ever happens..

Went out with Xindi a few days ago.. she wanted to look for one song "All I want for Christmas is you" and I found it for her.. burn it to a CD and every alternate song will be that song.. thats what she demanded and she liked it alot when I passed it to her.. I think next time I shall burn CDs for festive seasons so that people can listen to the music and enjoy the festives and also get a message from me on the CD surface... Nice Idea.. I think that would be more cheaper than buying a Xmas Card or a CNY Card.. and what an original idea??

Went to one of my army mate's wedding who is an Indian Muslim.. Met up with some of my army friends there too.. Happen to see one of my section commander who was in Section 1 and I was in charge of Section 2.. Good buddies in the army as he is in charge of the left assault and me the right assault.. thinking back... My section was the one who always tio the most enemies and his side was always ending up with no enemies.. I think even the enemies just hate me.. hahaha.. and yar.. the groom was the reserve section commander of my platoon.. always there to support us.. hahaha

then went to send gary to japan for his job training.. cool.. Man Utd won 3-1.. nice.. lets hope Chelsea drop points tonight..

The next time u are at the MRT Station they should have come up with a new public education message that says, "To avoid our SMRT trains disruption and public's convenience, please do not jump off onto the track when a train is approaching, PLEASE DO NOT JUMP ONTO THE TRACK WHEN A TRAIN IS APPROACHING! Thank you."

This is to dedicate to all those who got their travelling time disrupted yesterday.. Why in the hell does people think that letting a train bang is a good way to die? Isn't that painful?? And if you really want to choose to die that way, choose a more suitable time when the crowd is less.. Thank you~

yes today is a great day.. candy called me to say that the phone i was eyeing was on offer at 99 dollars quickly get down to CWP and then get the phone.. told my brother about it and he also got the same phone.. hahaa

Then I also saved the trouble of meeting my buyer of the graphics card tomorrow at 3pm to sell the card, he met up at my place.. Thanks! and then I also get to have the screen protector of my new phone from the seller who was living just at the next block to mine.. wow.. everything settled fast and furious.. great day..

Friday Night: Went to Bedok 85 to eat with my Army mates.. Sim was there (WOW!!) you could only see him when we say "EAT" when we said "RUN" he will say that he is working or whatever shit will come out.. Then Junhao was all craps again with his jokes that we laugh till we peng.. Had my round of Bak Chor Mee Mai Hiam...

Saturday Night: Went to Christine Birthday after my IPT, I am surprised that I could make my way there without any wrong turns!! Thats FANTASTIC!!! Christine's Mum's Fried Chicken Wings are fantastic too.. After that the gang went to Clarke Quay to have a pub session.. and we played Jenga there while watching Boro vs Man Utd.. What a high stack that I gotta take a picture of it..

Sunday Morning: Went to Malaysia at 8am with just 4 hours of sleep, then my dad took us to the new house and have a view of it.. Nice view.. we are in a high location that there isnt any blocked views.. then get the car to have some car facial.. let it have a nice polish and TA DA~~ nice shiny yellow Getz all for just rm 70.. (Car Wash, Polishing and Wax, Engine Wash)

Sitex and Big Boyz Toyz

Ytd went to Sitex with Sharin to have a look around the place.. met at 3pm at Jurong East MRT then its was raining so heavily that the platform to Pasir Ris was flooded like hell and the platform to Boon Lay was soooo Dry... then I had to wait for that F**Ker for 25 mins.. (he cant fuck, he sucks everytime meet him sure have to wait for at least 15 mins) then we were on our way to the Expo.. surprisingly it took just 35 mins from Jurong East to Expo MRT station..

Reached there at about 1605, but guess what! the place was packed with people and there was a traffic jam for cars going into the car park.. I wondered where does these people come from? Aint they going to work at all? I think Singaporeans are either soooo rich that they need not work or they are just skiving.. haha then get into the place, Sharin was looking for portable HDD.. Went from Hall 4 to Hall 3 and back to Hall 4 before I stopped to buy my portable HDD casing and Laptop cooler then we got back to the booth which has the best portable HDD deal and get his stuff...

After all the shopping, we went to Big Boyz Toyz to have a walk around.. lotsa things that really interest the boyz and Sharin wondered its for boyz and why are they bringing their gfs along to look.. then after snapping some nice ICE on the cars.. we went into the feature area.. paid $5 and have a look at the DUKE Final Cars.. nice cars modded on the exterior and their ICE.. 2 Getz caught my eyes haha they were really fantastic! Then came the actual thing that we wanted to see the Brazilian Bikini Fashion Show.. But then we felt that the money was not worth it... cos there were onli 4 models... one with a lot of tattoo one the back which was a turnoff and another was a plump girl.. (Oh Man!!) then one skinny ang moh... (Gonecase) then came the best one which every uncle, boy, man was snapping pictures of.. the look of the crowd was like Man Utd signing some big players with all the reporters busying snapping pictures of(Sharin, 2006).

Then met Tang to walk around again as he was getting a new computer.. Met Candy as she came to pick me up and then went to have dinner at Jln Kayu..

Please dun get cheated by the $5 if they are showing the Bikini Fashion Show, I think its just not worth it for that.. we were the specimen for it.. there is another bikini babe contest, I think that would be more worth it..
