yet another week...

Story that I wrote to my colleague:

HAHA long story...

The calendars order, 1000 (500 bilingual, 500 normal) of them are for charity. Then I send them an email (9.11.2007) that time to update the order as starting it was 1000 with normal logo. Then the printer din notice about the update and print 1000 normal logo and then somemore they based the printing not from the email but from the distribution list (16.11.2007) which I gave them, so they printed it wrongly as my list did not state the quantity for the different logos under the charity column then they tell me that they did the printing wrongly. To cover up for my mistakes and her mistakes, I email HK side to ask them whether they can take in the normal ones so that they don't have to reprint. Lucky they accept it, so end up we cover our backsides.. Phew~

Friday...

Calendars orders are here.. a whole lorry of calendars and it is 6.00pm everyone is going home.. The deliverymen and I were doing the delivering to the various departments, lucky some of them are still in the office, lucky that I knew where some of them sits which makes the handing over easier and therefore we are able to get the things done within 2 hours with like ??700?? over boxes placed in where they should be.. worse thing is that, I dunno why my mailroom knows that they should call me when the orders came, I think I have become the next mailroom to their mailroom when they need to handle big bulk of stuffs... I am.. the marketing internal mailroom cum logistic cum courier.. My job is no more just an admin staff.. HAHA is that good or bad for a marketing graduate? I wonder why some get to have good job and good pay when they come out yet I got only a temp position in a company... Am I that inferior to them?? Is that really meritocracy all about? study hard hard get good job, study not good you get cert also no one wants you.. WTF~.. That might be what luck, fate, destiny are all about?? it really sucks to the core...

Singapore economy is bluffing us all along... I have not get a permanent job yet and the papers are still reporting that fresh graduates are not meeting the demand.. _|_ sg papers..
