What a day

Today was a cold day as it was raining practically the whole day, after IMC we were deciding where to eat. Decided to go to New York New York but most were low in money health and then fabian suggested Han's then upon reaching Han's... The rich girls in my class wanted SAKAE SUSHI!!!! all had to agree.. sianz.. after my long hours in OB, I went to Comex with Sharin and his missus.. Went there and met Samantha who was with these bunch of my classmates who mainly consist of Ben and Ivan.. Yeah Yeah I think all went there because of her?? Maybe...but din bother much as Sharin and his Missus are the main characters for the day.. haha.. Met Vincent too as he was there working part time and saw Ashley who was there to meet him... Seems like its a gathering in the Comex.. haha Went to see the Everglide and Razer keyboards and was fascinated by them... wanting to get the Razer keyboard but was short of money and thinking that i wun be using the computer for sometime I decided not to buy and instead used it to buy my TIMBUK2! Went to Miss Clarity with Candy after the Comex show.. It is good food there.. Had a sirloin steak for the 2 days running and Miss Candy had Chicken Gordon Bleu.. NICE NICE NICE... Atmosphere there is great too.. very different from the day.. Lotsa people and its just warmth..

gathering for run

I am always the "organiser" for my 11th mono Charlie commanders.. To come up with new ideas are not a usual thing for me as I always plan to go and eat dinner on weekdays only... BUT today is different! I have come up with quite a unusual and healthy gathering for everyone of us.. Sunday morning 2nd Sept 2006, everyone shall gather at ECP and go for a run and after that have some chat over our breakfast.. I think it is quite cool that way.. Shall move on the planning soon..

Hmm.. started to wonder after a chat with my godsis, how to maintain a long term relationship? Some people are able to maintain it long enough.. some ended it fast... so how could we maintain a long term relationship?

In my opinion, I think it was to "give" and "take" when it is supposed to be, godsis said that it was tolerance... But then having one side to always tolerate the other side is not a good idea because over time, the side who is always giving would be sick of it and then one day just get fed up and thats the end of story for the two of them..

But then after a long time being together, what make them stay together? Is it love or what? Love might have become stagnant. The spark is not there anymore. The fire is not that anymore. So what does?? Can someone tell me?? I started to wonder after my godsis told me that.. hmm... I also dunno what it is but then I think that she has become a part of me already -eeks-

hmm....what causes the other party after a long term relationship to forgo it and goes for another NEW party?? Does anyone knows?? Can someone tag and let me know your comments?

Lucky kid I am

I think im such a lucky kid that I need not bother much about the financial status of my family. Seeing that some people worry about going to overseas studies expenses, I was like no worries as my dad is able to handle it.. I do not know if he is struggling or what, but from what I see he is not.. haha... I thought of these after seeing some of my friends failing their attempt to persuade their parents to go overseas to study due to financial problems even when I see them spending much more than me over here... Kinda strange.. is it that Singaporeans are so "assets rich" that they dun have enough cash to send their kids overseas?? In my term, assets rich is people who have cars, house, maids etc.. these are actually not their assests but liability... Cars dun earn you money, big house gives you liability if you are working on a fixed BIG income.. What if one day you got sacked and thats IT!.. BANKRUPT!!!

My advice is that people should invest in other things such as real estates, bonds so that these "assets" can be paid off easily by these investment.. maybe you might think that these might not work in Singapore, so bet on 4D then.. hahaha.. Give It a Try! Maybe it works...

Final words, I am a Lucky Kid.. I think I should start to care about my family more now.. You all should too because family is always there for you to lean on whenever things get bad for you.

Yes.. Manchester United won big time.. 5-1.. Seeing Saha and Rooney scored, WHO NEEDS RUUD?? Maybe only for this first part of the season. hehe today early morning wake up to do my annotated reference list for my assignment then rushed down to TMC to hand up my assignment and met with TT and another friend for lunch. Dying for chicken rice and had my chicken rice fix right away while they are still thinking of what to eat.

TT told me he met HH at somewhere where TT was with XX whom HH (i think) is interested in XX then after some chat, XX snubbed HH suddenly (maybe finding HH boring or irritating) then left to see some stuff.. Which left TT and HH alone.. TT starting chatting with HHH saying "hey long time no see" then HHH said that he actually dun wanna see TT as TT had last time said him about being blur or something like that.. I think it is kinda stupid when this comment was made mostly in the outing in Sentosa and while we are playing some games.. I was also targetted alot but then I think I handled it gracefully as it was all in a game.... Take it as a joke manz.. That makes you more happy in life.. If you are SOOOOOOO sensitive about stuff then.. dun bother to live already.. might as well just open the window and jump off then no one will say anything about u (maybe yes, as they will be saying you are stupid to jump off) and you also cant heard any UNPLEASANT remarks anymore...

It is also quite funny that HH said he was meeting his friends and was clinging onto the 2 of them for quite some time.. hahaha.. Is it that he is faking it or what?? (Give comments please)

Sometimes people likes to joke about each other's weaknesses or mistake unintentionally but then we should not take it too heavy if not, how are you going to live when you are out in the society? wat a saturday

woke up early in the morning and went for my street soccer CHARITY competition. then started the match at around 9.30am. lose the match by 1 goal. then have to wait another 1 and a half hour for the next match. Won it by one goal. good. but we need more motivation, so we called in Jared to give us some motivational talk... but I think the motivational talk did not work too well, we lose by 3 goals!! sad.. then it is really Charity play for us.. In the meantime, it was soo hot that my gf has to sacrifice her health (which she just recover from fever) to stand the heat of the sun and the smell of our sweaty bodies... Also while waiting, we played some poker games.. oh man Gamblers United... Why didnt I think of that team name just now??

Never mind total games won 1, lost 3. But it is our first time and no team prep before the competition.. This shows that our friendship is still strong as we are still able to win one match.. hahahaha

The fireworks and it was great, but the photos taken did not turn out that good.... Crowd was lots!! Didn't notice that there were so many people in Singapore at all.. hahahaha... Heard one teenage couple talking about Singaporean. "Wah liew, singaporeans all nothing better to do lehz, come here watch fireworks, I think other countries' people also not as excited as us lor.." Ya Ya Ya, and they were there to watch fireworks.. Aren't they saying themselves? Hahaha... It was really massive with people and one lane of Sheares Bridge was like practically turning into a family day lane.

Went to see WCG today and found that one of my brother's friend got 2nd overall for his FIFA game competition. Kinda sad and ashamed that my brother's team did not even get into the 2nd round.. Haiz.. After training so hard and so long and so many sleepless nights, he lost 1, won 1 and let the other team walkover them due to his friend's other game clashes with the team competition.. BAD LUCK.. never mind, they still hold the DMGC flag high.. hahaha

For me.. I went for a jog in East Coast Park with 3 of my friends.. Didn't expect to see that Singaporeans all are so health conscious... Early morning, everyone is either jogging or cycling or blading... SO HEALTHY..... WAT THE HELL... Really cannot make it in running anymore.. ran for less than 5km (or is it 4km?) and I am shag out... hahaha..

blame everything on oil price

yes.. realised that recently living in this place, they are blaming everything on oil price. taxi fares, bus fares, mrt fares, electricity bills, water bills, utilities bills. yes yes blame everything on the ever rising oil price. but then why can't we say that we want increase salaries, bonus, benefits due to the increased oil price? got exploited by companies who said that we need to work even longer hours to compensate for the ever rising oil price. so... girls and boys, the best excuse for this quarter of the year would be the rising oil price.

For example, a student talking to a lecturer about handing assignments.

Student: I can't do my assignments because of the RISING oil price

Lecturer: Why has it got to do with the RISING oil price?

Student: due to the RISING oil price, the electricity bills gone up and my parents wants me to save electricity therefore I cannot use the computer to do my assignments.

Lecturer: Why dun you use your hand?

Student: because due to the RISING oil price, we dun have enough food to eat because of the we dun have enough money to buy gas to cook our food.

Lecturer: Why dun you eat outside?

Student: because outside food also increasing their price due to the RISING oil price"

today's newspaper put the fares application by the two blood sucking PRIVATE transport companies as headline of the day. yeah yeah after all it is all a conspiracy though out by my friend that it might all end up to be an act by the government to gain more support as the government would reject the idea of fare rishing this year. But then, I doubt so. Why? Because the two companies are the monopoly of the transport industry in Singapore. They are the KINGS! nothing can stop them from rising their fares and suck all the blood away from the people. But then what can we do? WE can only SUCK thumb and not blood. Too bad, Singaporeans are die hard workers, if not we could create chaos by boycotting the buses and MRTs. Then again, when the transport fares ahave all risen, the FAMOUS ERP fees would also rise due to "oil prices" again. Yar yar everything blame on oil price. Cause those ERP needs electricity to operate and those electricity need generators and those generators need oil.
